We call this dress the cocktail/bridesmaid/meet-his-parents/fancy lunch/party...dress. The bodice hits at the natural waist and gives way to a flattering a-line skirt. A lapped zipper runs down the center back to the hip. Arm and neck facings lend a finished look.

(18” zipper * hook and eye * spool of regular weight thread * 1/4 yard fusible interfacing * 2 yards fabric)
