Two darts lend shape to the upper portion of the coat. The arms feature a slight flare. Finish the coat with buttons, snaps or choose to leave it open. You can even line it with contrasting fabric and create a simple lapel. There are lots of ways to make this coat unique!

You provide:

(spool of regular weight thread * 1/2 yard fusible interfacing * 2-3 yards fabric depending on length of coat * buttons, snaps or hook n' eyes (optional))

Suggested fabrics:
Look for something that has some weight to it, like wool, heavyweight cotton, twill or maybe even some lightweight upholstery fabric.
